10th May 2007 - After a long day
Practiced one song for the entire day. Beethoven's Sonata "the tempest"..Finished the 1st movtment and still not done.
Tomorrow is the Italian concerto day. Will take the whole of tomorrow to practice that.
Went to teach at 6pm. Had a lot of fun teaching this 6 years old child who is playing grade 1 piano. She's really a bright child. Very intellgent. I tested her on broken chords and did it randomly. I left one out and ask her which one i missed. Without hesitation, she said " F major". She's really dilligent too. Last week, I made her practice with a coin on her hand so as to train her fingers to achieve individual strenght without depanding on her forearm for strength. She couldn't do it last week and surprised me today with the ability to play through the scales without letting the coin drop- she practiced hard. She's such a sweet girl too. ^.^
Simon said the Play Video symphony tickets have been sold out :( Surprisingly, William is due for NS the day before. So, we all can't watch it one way or another. Sorry bro Kin Hang..may not be able to go for that one...
